Choir for Hire

A small group from Sudbury Choral Society is available to sing at weddings, memorial services and funerals, receptions and Christmas celebrations, and other similar functions.  Our repertoire covers a wide range including sacred and secular music, from hymns and anthems to folk songs, madrigals and spirituals.  If there is a particular piece of music you would like us to perform we would be very happy to oblige (given reasonable notice!)

We are available for engagements within a 20 mile radius of Sudbury, Suffolk UK.

Ray Smith’s funeral in Holy Trinity Church – my beloved friend had been ill for a few years and we had spent a lot of time together planning his funeral.  He wanted everyone singing to “really raise the roof “ to use his words.  But with his funeral on a Monday afternoon only two people from the church choir could attend.  I asked around and Choir for Hire came to our rescue.  On the day we really did raise the roof and did Ray proud.  Highly recommended – Jen, September 2024.

We celebrated my husbands birthday at Boxted hall, there was 26 people at the event and I decided to surprise my husband and guest with choir for hire and I am so glad we did, they were absolutely AMAZING, every guest said it made their weekend.
