Some tickets are still available for tonight’s Autumn Concert in St Peter’s, Sudbury. Some superb young soloists from the Royal College of Music will be singing their hearts out – get your hankies ready for ‘When I Am Laid in Earth’ from Dido and Aeneas, sob. It starts at 7.30pm.

Nearly Summer Concert Time!
Our last concert, Mendelssohn’s Elijah was a huge success for us – an inspiring evening, spurred on by having a replacement Elijah soloist at the last minute – you would never have known.
Our Summer Concert on Sunday 2nd July at 3.30pm features Songs from the Films. We’ve got support from the super-talented Laura Barnard, and vocal harmonies from The Accidentals and Flat Broke . Songs will span the decades, including this Eighties-tastic Bond theme tune by Sheena Easton:
If you fancy something more classical, a follow up to last year’s packed-out French Horn concert is being put on to support us in St Peter’s on Sunday 23rd July. Tickets available shortly.
Elijah – our next concert 9th April at 7.30pm
Apologies for radio silence from our web master, she’s been on holiday but is back now to update you with details of our next concert, the splendid and glorious oratorio Elijah by Mendelssohn. Date: 9th April, time 7.30pm in St Peter’s. Tickets are already on sale in Tourist Information and Compact Music, Sudbury.

Welcome back!
Kicking off our Autumn season with our first rehearsal on 5th September – some gorgeous music from the 20th Century, right up to the present day has been chosen.
Pieces include Vaughan Williams ‘O Clap Your Hands’, George Dyson’s ‘Hierusalem’ and young Norwegian composer Ola Gjielo’s ‘Sunrise Mass’.
